Good stuff, Mr. forestcorpse. I'm assuming you already have the Owl's Blood LP, and that's why it isn't included with the Ostots and Black Cilice? Very solid album. I'm pissed I slept on the first press, but I'll be sure to grab the repress as soon as I have some cash.

Seeing that Gruntruck album takes me back to my KISW days in Seattle when they'd come down to the station. Good times.

I had no idea Cardiac Arrest was so popular with people around here. I see those dudes all the time and I run into Adam Scott probably every other show I go to.

Feels good to by some new music, it's been far too long. This is my brick and mortar scores from Black Friday, I'll probably pick up some more stuff over the rest of the weekend online.

Nope sure haven't! Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, I bought it on a whim at the used store during the holiday sale. Glad to hear it's good though.

I finally got Thunder Metal, the Nifelheim/Vulcano split. I hate buying splits when I don't like one of the bands. I got this for the two Vulcano tracks. On the other hand, I also got Prelude to Awakening, the Serenity in Murder/Ancient Bands split. One track by each, both awesome. Also Obitus - Strategema. Really a great little EP. Took awhile to find this one.

Malevolent Creation - Dead Man's Path [Great album]
Satan - Atom By Atom [Satan can't go wrong with me but I'm not sure yet if it's as good as Life Sentence]
Down Among The Dead Men - Exterminate! Annihilate! Destroy! [I love Dave Ingram's voice. Great stuff]

DevilDriver - The Last Kind Words
Riot - Fire Down Under (LP)
Saigon Kick - The Lizard

The Riot LP has "Fire Down Under" on the front and "Fire Down Below" on the spine. They also misspelled "monsters" on the back (unless that was intentional for some reason).

Lou Reed - New York
Skid Row - Slave to the Grind
Motley Crue - Girls, Girls, Girls
Living Colour - Time's Up
8 Eyed Spy - Live
Masters of Reality - s/t (sealed)
Motley Crue - s/t (sealed)

This copy of Slave to the Grind has the song "Get the Fuck Out" on it. Which is pretty cool, though I remember really liking the song "Beggars Day," which replaced it, when I had it on CD.

Yeah I know drodi :). I gotta be honest here 25 is a strong contender for AotY 2015 in my book. I still need to get the new Horrendous and Ares Kingdom albums and a few other things but as of right now she's edging out the competition.

Few things from Discogs that came in today:

Image

Satanic Warmaster - Carelian Satanist Madness
Sühnopfer - Offertoire (fuck.... this rules)

Image

Anata - Under a Stone with No Inscription
Gorefest - False
Protector - Welcome to Fire (compilation)
Runemagick - Resurrection in Blood
Sinister - The Silent Howling
Violation - Moonlight's Child (pretty nice melodeath)

My Sinister collection is almost complete, just missing a couple CDs. I love almost everything they've put out, although there are definitely a few duds and nothing is as great as the first 3. Aggressive Measures, Afterburner and The Post-Apocalyptic Servant are all pretty damn good though.

I've never enjoyed Hate with Bastard Saints tacked on the end, it just doesn't flow.
Hate has to end with The Bloodfeast!

Dark Memorials looks interesting

Yeah none of those Sinister reissues especially appealed to me, especially that version with Diabolical Summoning + Cross the Styx on the same CD (in the wrong order too, with DS first and CtS second for some reason). I overpaid a bit for the first 3 albums but Bastard Saints is fortunately pretty easy to come by.
