Yeah, but if you take the booklet out you have to rotate it 90 degrees to your left to open it horizontally. :p That's probably the reason why the artwork got flipped in the reissues.

PS: Great scores indeed!

Funny you mentioned that, cause I didn't know that! just opened it and indeed, the booklet opens up in a different way then normal... :p

Got those two Elvis Costello records ('Armed Forces' and 'Get Happy') in the last few days, which I'm very happy about. Make fun of my tastes if you want but the guy has made some truly great albums.

Toxic Holocaust An Overdose of Death repress on splattered blah vinyl
I'm probably the last person on earth to own this record, but I've listened to it pretty often since it came out. I know Hell on Earth is more widely lauded on here, but this is still my favorite TH album. It's a fun and fast record, and I think it offers something pretty much everyone can like something here. It's not esoteric at all, but who gives a fuck?

Krieg - Isolation/Transmission 7"
This was a late, late pick up from a Record Store Day that didn't give me much to get excited about. This was pretty much the only thing that I was interested in picking up, so I guess I got everything I wanted? Anyway, Krieg is more or less my favorite USBM, and this is some more of that. "Isolation" is a really strong track, and I spun it at least a few times.

Cauldron - Moonlight Desires 7"
The title track was so, so unexpected. I hadn't heard the original before, so I was like "holy shit this is so poppy," but liked it. It got stuck in my head for literally two days. There's a Bathory cover on the b-side too--I wonder how many bands have covered "Sacrifice"? Anyway, this is a good 7" THE END.

Interesting, I haven't had any updates for this thread
And you guys are running rampant, some epic scores in here!

Got some good stuff in last week, took a while to add and update as per usual, worth the effort though

Carpathian Forest - Morbid Fascination Of Death [ITA, original]
Defiled - Divination [FRA, finally I have the full version, I've had the promo for ages]
Deranged - Deranged [FRA, not bad, they have better, it has some interesting un-metal stuff on this album]
Diabolic - Chaos In Hell / Possessed By Death [US, 2 EPs released on one disc, I have almost every album now]
Grave Upheaval - Untitled [US, probably the most suffocating black death Disembowelment worship metal I've ever heard, this is excellent and dark as it gets]
Hate - Awakening Of The Liar [US, original, wicked album, I'm not too fond of their newer stuff though, maybe in small doses]
Katechon - Man God Giant [US, cool stuff, I've wanted this for a few months]
Necroholocaust / Deiphago - Gods Of Holocaust [THAI, ltd ed and numbered, nasty double EP reissue, some live stuff and covers too]
Portal - Seepia [FRA, ODP remastered reissue, finally I have a copy, still want an original though...]
Tyrants Blood - Prophecy [IRE, killer! I have every Tyrants Blood album now]
Vassafor - Vassafor [AUS, I have 2 copies of this excellent 'EP' now]

I bought Demilich's 20th Adversary of Emptiness on a whim, not having heard a single not from it before. Considering all the rave reviews of the album I have to admit I was quite dissapointed after the first listen. I just didn't get it.

However last night I gave it another spin using headphones while playing some Dota 2 and daaaaamn did the penny drop for me. The album is so good that I actually just ordered another copy (since mine that came directly from Svart Records was a bit beat up).

I also ordered the reissue of Dawn - Nær Solen Gar Niþer For Evogher as well as Dawn - The Eternal Forest - Demo Years 91-93 -.

Yesterday I also ordered Acid Witch - Stoned on cd and Acid Witch/Nunslaughter - Spooky on 7" from Hells Headbangers.

Recently I also ordered Vallenfyre - The Fragile King (digipak), Vasaeleth - All Uproarious Darkness and the 3 cd reissue of Death's Leprosy.

bvdub - I Remember (Translations of Mørketid)
bvdub - The First Day
bvdub - Serenity
bvdub & Loscil - Erebus
Bolt Thrower - ...for Victory
Bolt Thrower - Honour - Valour - Pride
Bolt Thrower - Those Once Loyal
Dark Buddha Rising - Dakhmandal (A boring band to see live but the music works really well at home.)
Iron Hearse - Deal with It (Pre-ordered it, so I got a signed copy. The artwork is so boring the signatures actually improve it, ha!)
Manilla Road - Crystal Logic (2CD 30th Anniversary edition. The bonus tracks really are for die hards only. But it was awesome to hear "Crystal Logic (Live 2011)" recorded at Hammer of Doom festival, because I was there singing along with an incredible and ecstatic audience. The entire set should be released as a live album.)
Saint Vitus - C.O.D. (Season of Mist's reissue)
Saint Vitus - Die Healing (Also Season of Mist)
Sleep Research Facility - Nostromo
The Skull - Sometime Yesterday Mourning c/w The Last Judgment

Nice! Those MinstreliX and Mahatma CDs are really good. That Onmyo-Za CD is my 3rd favorite of theirs (right behind Kishi Bojin and Koujin Rasetsu, respectively).

My order arrived as well, and I'll post a pic later (gotta rip everything to FLAC and put 'em into plastic sleeves first. No OCD here! :P)

Woods of Desolation - As the Stars purple LP
Finally arrived. Perfect music for the absolute dogshit weather inundating Minnesota for the last week or so--bleak and grey and lonely. I've often wondered if it makes me a stupid asshole if I like this band and don't like Deafheaven. Something about this just seems more, I don't know, genuine? Authentic? Something like that, I don't know. Either way, I can see this getting a LOT of spins in the future.
