Nice stuff you got there kyzanar. How much did those Protector albums cost you? The ones I've seen for sale on Discogs run a pretty hefty price.

Also jealous of that Infernal Majesty and Messiah.

Yeah the Protector albums ran me 30 euro each, but those were actually pretty good prices at least for Urm the Mad and the Golem repress. They are my favorite death/thrash band so I've been trying to hunt them down at a decent price for a while. Just need A Shedding of Skin now to complete the collection, unfortunately it is even more pricey! :annoyed:

Yes! Thank you sir. Did not expect them to arrive so soon or I would have waited to include them in my last post. Got some Bolt Thrower and a handful of thrash classics that had eluded me for whatever reasons.

Some acquisitions over the past few months

Image

Altered State - Winter Warlock (FINALLY got this one after searching forever. This KILLS)
Deaf Dealer - Journey into Fear (so glad this album finally got an official release. Replaced a bleper quality bootleg)
The Dagger - The Dagger
Hell - Curse and Chapter
Horrendous - Ecdysis (this one ruled too)
Jag Panzer - The Scourge of the Light
Ramones - Halfway to Sanity (Garden of Serenity = ONLY Ramones song)
Trouble - Run to the Light
Znöwhite - Znöwhite (2007 comp with their first three EPs)

Savage Grace - Master of Disguise/The Dominatress (still in transit - it's SUPPOSEDLY the 1995 Black Dragon CD, but I'm not sure of it's legit or not. It was cheap so I was willing to chance it)

And a Luna Noa keychain, because I'm weird :V

Horrendous - The Chills
Incantation - Blasphemy
Midvinter - At the Sight of the Apocalypse Dragon (got this one from Discogs)

I was a big Znowhite/Cyclone Temple fan back in the day.

I recently became friendly with my wife's co-workers husband who is also into the rock/metal.

About a month ago he asked me if I had heard of ZnoWhite, and he was a it shocked when I told him that I indeed was a fan. Turns out that Scott Schaeffer who played in both bands lives next door to them, and I had met him once or twice while at their home for parities/BBQ's, not knowing who he was...

Necrphobic - Hrimthursum [Candlelight USA]
Repugnant - Hecatomb
Execration (Nor) - Morbid Dimensions

Hrimthursum for being a 9yr old release goes for relatively high prices. And its bizarre how the Execration cover art for Morbid Dimensions has the same 'portal' as another band by the same name.

Today's second-hand haul tells its pitiful tale of some metalhead running out of money or finding a religious live-in girlfriend or something... I got all this for 17 euros:

Cryptopsy - And Then You'll Beg
Mithras - Worlds Beyond the Veil
Battalion - Winter Campaign
Cadaverous Condition - The Lesser Travelled Seas
Deadsoul Tribe - The January Tree
Moloken - We All Face the Dark Alone
Angmar - The Razorblade Redemption
Sombre Chemin - Hétérodoxie: Opus 1 (Haine)
Satureye - Where Flesh and Divinity Collide
Angmar - The Razorblade Redemption
Shade Empire - Slitwrist Ecstasy
Viscera Infest - Demo Single CD 2005

My latest haul from deepdiscount.com arrived today. When ordered, I luckily stumbled upon a storewide 15% off sale that was almost over. :D

Antonius Rex - Hystero Demonopathy
Krux - III: He Who Sleeps Amongst the Stars
Gamma Ray - Insanity & Genius/Land of the Free 2 CD set

With the sale, Antonius Rex was $15.29, and factoring in the free shipping for my whole order, turns out to be a really good price for this album! Been wanting this album since it came out in 2012. Krux was $9.68, been wanting this album for what feels like forever, but never got around to it despite it being on amazon for a good price for a long time. Gamma Ray cost me $10.08. I was actually under the impression that Land of the Free was out of print, but apparently this 2010 issue with Insanity & Genius is pretty readily available.

Good choice. Those two are pretty overlooked in a way. Joe Hasselvander was practically the entire band on those albums. I guess he was doing his best to keep things together. A friend of mine let me borrow those albums and I dubbed them both onto one cassette.

It's also worth noting that Rainbow Demon got the original issues too, instead of the reissues. I don't know if the reissues have better sound, but the new cover art for them is horrible, especially since they are essentially the same damn thing.
