Just bought Abigor's Verwustung/Invoke the Dark Age (coloured version) and Supreme Immortal Art on CD from some chick who had no idea what she was selling and was willing to part with them for 10 bucks.

A day and money well spent.

I couldn't find the Acidwitch - witchtanic hellucinatioins album I was after (recently discovered that's it's rare :( )
I picked up a bizarre pressing of a mutiilation album. I found it in a tiny, used CD bin for 7 bucks, and I was like hey, cheap mutiilation! It looks legit and has an IFPI code and stuff. TECD001 (tragic empire records). I couldn't find this press on discogs, anywho, I got it for the best price possible, i'm sure.

Mutiilation - vampires of black imperial blood
Sleep - dopesmoker
pig destroyer - prowler in the yard

I didn't get any sweet vinyl pickups today. I'm going to go to my record store once a week for now.
I ordered some immolation, suffocation, incantation through this store's computer repertoire.
Also, there's a nunslaughter damned in japan box set but it's 35 bucks, and a voivod nothingface CD for 25.
I tend to avoid stuff that's more than 10 bucks, unless I really, really want it. I also saw nemesis divine for 7 bucks.
There's a ton of stuff at this store and it really gives you a sense that you get to pick what stuff that's choice, which is great! I'd love to buy it all, is the only misgiving I have.

Daaaaaaamn nice! I think Foulest Semen is a bit underrated, but it's definitely among their three best albums
I'm still looking for reasonably priced Beherit CDs. Do they even exist?

I went just to get the Enslaved CD and somehow wound up coming home with it and seven others as well. Funny how that happens.

You just need patience, and if you are not only interested in firstpresses it shouldn't be a problem. Even the "Drawing..." firstpress CD can easily be obtained for 10 Euros or less (got mine from Ebay some months ago for 7 Euro), only "Oath..." firstpress CD can get a little more expensive. But generally there are big quantities of all regular albums circulating.

The Occultist tape is excellent, good choice on that one. How was the Mutilation Rites show? I wanted to see them but they weren't coming close enough to DC for me to.

Just finished my christmas list and sent it in to my mom with links to things to get, and seeing as almost every sale is no longer listed...

On my list, that I assumed was purchased by my mom within less than a day of sending the list to her:

Dawn - Nær Solen Gar Niþer For Evogher (only the RP was available)
Cemetary ‎– An Evil Shade Of Grey
Mysticum - In The Streams Of Inferno
The Chasm - Deathcult for eternity
Acid Witch - Witchtanic Hellucinations
Nocturnus - The Key
Dodsengel - Mirum Occultum
Mystifier - Goetia
Hades - Dawn of the dying sun

And a couple more, I won't mention, so no one undermines the chance of getting it.

"Master of Disguise" by Lizzy Borden. A few good tracks but overall it didn't do much for me; I had no idea it was a rock opera in advance and those usually don't do anything for me. On the other hand I also got "Endless War" by Realm; THAT album kicks some serious ass on the other hand.

I found Engram used on amazon for € 8,90 incl. shipping, so I think I'll get that one since ebay currently starts at € 12,50 and I don't even want to talk about German online shops (they are out of their fucking minds).

It was good. It was the third time I've seen them in the past year and it was still pretty fresh. Biking home with a record stuffed up my sweatshirt wasn't my best idea though.

Well you need a little patience, it may take some weeks until you can make a good deal on that one. I bought Engram on CD last week for 6 Euros on Ebay. Sometimes it may also take half a year or a year to get a specific item for a reasonable price but if you want it now, then it is definitely more expensive.

8,90 is less than what I was willing to pay though, so I had no reason to wait. :)
I heard good things about that album. Looking forward to it.

Free music day:

The Ash Eaters-Ruining You
The Ash Eaters-Ibn Ghazi
The Ash Eaters-The Cruel Side
The Ash Eaters-Cold Hearts

The Ash Eaters is the new band of Brown Jenkins members. They have their entire current catalog (1 full length and 3 EP's) available for free download via their Bandcamp page.

I'm looking forward to delving into what I expect to be superfucked black/doom/experimental weirdness.

Blind Guardian - Memories of a Time to Come (4LP). A pity it's still dynamic range compressed like the CD version, but it seems to have a lot less (-7.6 dB replaygain for the recorded LP version of "Ride into Obsession" compared to -9.7 dB for the CD At the Edge of Time version. But then, maybe that was because the LP rip got passed through a tube amplifier on its way to the CD recorder, and most of the remixes are actually better-sounding than the originals (granted, Tales from the Twilight World had a production so bad it's hard not to improve on it).

The rerecordings, unlike the remixes are a real mixed bag. "Valhalla" is a big improvement, especially with Hansi not sounding like Arnold Schwarzenegger in the chorus anymore. "And Then There Was Silence" is stripped down, which kind of defeats the original purpose of the song. "The Bard's Song (In the Forest)" went from a boring song to absolute dog shit with all the extra crap that's been thrown on.

Not sure if it was worth $65 though.

Are Satanel any good? Wanna sell it?

Both those Har Shatan splits are awesome. Good purchase there. Do you have any version of the full length?
