Some stuff from the past few weeks:

Astralion - Outlaw
Carcass - Heartwork
Carcass - Wake Up and Smell the...
Excalion - High Time
Gloryhammer - Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards
Orden Ogan - Ravenhead [CD/DVD]
Riot - Unleash the Fire

The Astralion album was a blind buy. It's an odd combo of Stratovarius and DragonForce that I don't really like. Perhaps it will grow on me like Winkler's vocals in Gloryhammer.

Edit: I also picked up Trick or Treat - Rabbit's Hill Pt. 2. I thought it was going to be my AOTY, but Serenity is still holding the top spot down.

From Deep Discount:

The Order of Israfel - Red Robes
Manowar - Gods of War

From Grooves-Inc. via ebay:

Manowar - Warriors of the World (10th Anniversary Remastered Edition)

Got these three maybe a week or two ago, but been too lazy to take pics, finally did today. Red Robes is pretty good, and is a new release, but I've been too obsessed with the two Manowar albums to listen to it much. Especially Gods of War. I seriously think Gods of War is one of the all time most underrated albums by a well known respected/liked metal band (at least in the genres I listen to, anyway). Right up there with Never Say Die and Rocka Rolla (both great albums to me). Warriors of the World is quite good as well.

Lenny Kravitz - Are You Gonna Go My Way
Virgin Black - Requiem - Fortissimo
The Allman Brothers Band - The Allman Brothers Band

Got these yesterday from the local music store. Took a chance on Lenny Kravitz. I bought it because the title track, which was the single, rocks hard and I like it a lot. Unfortunately, literally nothing else from the CD rocks in the slightest. Even at $2.95, I still feel ripped off. Took a chance on Virgin Black, since it was a paltry $1.95, and after listening to it once, it's pretty good, but it needs more listens. I already had the Allman Brothers downloaded and listened to, so I knew I like it before purchasing. It cost me a mere $5.99 brand new, so quite a deal. I got interested in this band/album because I had heard a small snippet of Whipping Post that included some really cool guitar harmonies. The album in general is really good blues rock. And they use(d) a lot more guitar harmonies than other blues rock bands I'm used to, so that's pretty cool.

Skullhog - The Evil Dead
Bolt Thrower - Mercenary
Forbidden - Twisted Into form (with some autographs on the back)
Dismember - Override Of The Overture
Brutality - Screams Of Anguish
Benediction - Dark Is The Season / The Grotesque * Ashen Epitaph

Can't find anything about the benediction compilation. It has almost the same matrix code as the original Dark Is The Season ep's but can't find it as a compilation apart from some recent vinyl editions under a different label. Any info?

I don't know man... I'm not aware of any compilation with those two EPs, maybe it's unofficial?

Also, that Dismember album is titled Like an Ever Flowing Stream.

Override of the Overture is the first song on the album, but I'm sure you just made an oopsie lol.

Hehe yeah, oopsie. I'm already quite familiar with the album haha.

And my guess also is that the benediction cd is unofficial.

Crimson Wind - Last Poetry Line
Iced Earth - Alive in Athens (2CD)
Mystic Prophecy - Regressus
Rhapsody - Power of the Dragonflame
Thunderstone - Apocalypse Again

I've been meaning to pick up that Crimson Wind (Italian power metal) album for a while now. Check out 'The Storm' if you've never listened to them.

How does the Dismember CD sound, is it brickwalled and distorted or is it that typical 1991 "sounds like it's playing in the neighbour's garage" volume level? Because if it's the latter, you just scored the unholy grail of Dismember CDs.

Just got these today, all original pressings except as noted:

Abigor - Nachthymnen (From the Twilight Kingdom)
Atheist - Piece of Time (expanded reissue)
Entombed - Left Hand Path (needed this so I could get rid of the Del Imaginarios Discos version I accidentally bought years ago)
God Dethroned - The Grand Grimoire
Necrophobic - Bloodhymns
Nifelheim - Servants of Darkness

Sadly, it isn't the holy grail... I already checked. It is the second 1991 press. The search continues...

You've gotten some nice classics too!

Insomnium - Above The Weeping World
Morbid Angel - Covenant
Opeth - Still Life
Stratovarius - Nemesis

I had to send back the Stratovarius one a few weeks back because it was broken, and I received a new one yesterday and purchased the other three today.

Witherscape-The Northern Sanctuary
Ritual Chamber-Obscurations (To Feast on the Seraphim)
Baptism-V: The Devil's Fire
Revocation-Great Is Our Sin
HammerFall-Glory to the Brave
The Project Hate MCMXCIX-The Cadaverous Retaliation Agenda
Sojourner-Empires of Ash
Sacrificed Alliance-Withering Synergy

Haven't had a chance to listen to all of these yet, but I'm really enjoying the new Witherscape, Dan Swano can do no wrong. The Baptism was great on first listen, it's the first album I've heard from them.

I finally got around to getting Sojourner's Empires of Ash, and I love it!

The last thing I've bought was a blu-ray of Wacken 2013 for sentimental purposes.

I'm in a metal rut and nothing is jumping out at me so no hauls recently.

I just ordered the original Japanese version of Sabbat's Karisma on CD. The Thrashingfist reissue was a little cheaper but the original just looks so much fucking cooler. This was the only full-length by them that I'm missing and I've been on a huge Sabbat kick lately so it seemed like the right time to fill in that gap.

The Dwelling just floored me. I've heard it a bunch of times but I hadn't played it in awhile. What a nuanced beast of an album. On the more brutish side I've been spinning Fetishism and the early 7" material a lot lately. I'm possessed!
