Its has come to my attention that many of our favourite bands members or ex members are dropping dead like flies. I thought it was about time to make a thread in which we could report all dead musicians and pay tribute to them and what they achieved for metal.

Thats a pretty good site, if a little depressing - I imagine I often miss when metal people die, good linkage.

In one way, I am happy that I didn't start listening to CG before he died because they quickly became one of my favourite bands and I listen to their two first albums every day. If I would have become a fan much earlier, the news of his death would have crushed me.

That site is missing the Pagan's Mind guitarist who appeared as the second guitarist on the band's first two albums.

Unless I just skipped him, they missed fucking Criss Oliva too.

That was quiet a shocking view to see how many people in metal die young really does show what metal as a life style really does take a lot out of you.

It's extremely sad...but I'm guessing a lot of these guys didn't bother to take much care of themselves and this is the reason that they're dying.

Quite the truth, for the majority of cases
