I am a huge Gama Bomb fan. There one of the best "new" Thrash bands' around. "Citizen Brain" just blew me away. I can't wait for their next release.

Do I know you? I don't think I've annoyed any one.

I'm trying to tab some gama bomb for the whole world right now.

Gama Bomb is a pretty decent band, although I think at times they fall under the Municipal Waste syndrome, with their album having 13-14 songs or something like that and all being like 2-3 minutes so a few of them are just plain pointless/boring/forgettable.

That said, they do have some cool shit to be found, I'd definitely go support them live.

Also, why did you buy 10 copies of Citizen Brain?

Trying to help a thrash band out, They are lacking money. Plus more sells=more of a chance on a chart.

Wouldn't really call it municipal waste syndrome, It's like that with ever NWOTM band really.

Just found this http://earache.com/uswebstore/product_i ... cts_id/505, Will be buying it today.

They're pretty fun, I wouldn't listen to them all day or anything, but I've enjoyed the few songs I've heard.

Sure, if you don't count Skeletonwitch, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder, Evile, Warpath, LaZarus AD, Demiricous, BSOM, Devestator, and a bunch of other revival thrash bands. Revival thrash is far more varied than people give it credit for.

I wouldn't call them pure thrash at all. Way too many groove laden moments and their debut is pretty terrible because of it. Really, they are more groove than anything else.

I'd disagree. While they have a number of stop/start moments, they keep the tempo fast and don't have the same degree of syncopation as groove metal bands. And the drumming is much more thrash than groove.
And The Onslaught certainly didn't write any metal history, but it wasn't bad. It's nice to hear at least one band in the revival thrash scene playing a more groove-oriented style of thrash (while still being thrash).

This does seem a fair bit like promotion rather than really asking what people's thoughts on Gamma Bomb are.

Despite that I quite like them, far from the best modern thrash metal band but very enjoyable. Citizen Brain was quite an enjoyable listen, I look forward to them polishing their approach.

I think they are more enjoyable than most of these other ones.

P.S. It's gama bomb, Not gamma bomb

Nice band, the debut was good. Buying 10 copies of it, though... I hope you're joking.

@Mystylife: try National Suicide if you like revival thrash.

Gama Bomb is a fucking great band.

They are a perfect retro party thrash band. Riffs are awesome, lyrics are fun.

I especially love in Final Fight how they use Super Mario Bros. coin sounds, and how the guitarist plays the Tetris theme in the solo.

Sentenced to Thrash makes me laugh every time. Guilty as.... FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!
