I'm looking for some good, relatively cheap, printed zines from the United States, Canada, or even Mexico. Anyone have any recommendations/suggestions? (reliable shipping/transactions would be a plus).

Thanks!

MetalStorm is one of the only printed 'zines in California that is released on a semi-regular basis.

Try the promotional forum, that is where you'll usually find folks promoting stuff. or try some distro web sites. I don't understand why you'd limit your options to only north america though, it's possible to get zines for similar prices from all over. I don't think I've even read any from north america lately.

Don't limit yourself to North American zines; many of the best are produced overseas. Check out different distro lists and you'll come across plenty. For example...

http://freespace.virgin.net/aesthetic.death/
http://www.nwnprod.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=29
http://www.noposersplease.com/catalog/i ... 252064c597

Also, if you're interested in old school/bestial Death and Black Metal, you are welcome to buy a copy of my zine. Issue #1 comes out in a week or two and will feature interviews with FATHER BEFOULED, GRAVEYARD, FORCE OF DARKNESS, COSMIC ATROPHY, STARGAZER, CRUCIAMENTUM, KARNARIUM, CACODAEMON, VANHELGD, and INFINITUM OBSCURE + reviews of unholy Death/Black and an ABSU concert report. Here's a link to the Myspace:

It'll probably cost 5$, or whatever you feel like paying for it. Not sure yet.
