Considering the the divided opinions on Evile, i was wondering what eveyone's opinion on their new song was. i wasn't really impressed with it considering Matt Drake doesn't have a very good singing voice and it was just a bit too midpaced for my taste, almost to the point of grooving. Your thoughts?

Good track. The live sounds were good too but I prefer faster stuff by Evile, especially when the play on galloping style.

I saw this performed live and was very impressed. I like it overall. Sure, i'd be disappointed if the entire new album was at this tempo, but I really doubt it. Hopefully there'll be some Armoured Assaults and Thrashers in there too.

Sounds pretty tight, but I get the feeling that Evile will always be that Amon Amarth, Slayer (oh what a fucking suprise) kind of band, the ones that don't really progress but sort of do a tiny bit.

Seems decent, nothing too tremendous. I wouldn't call it groove at all, it's just mid-tempo thrash - Metallica and Slayer were doing this kind of stuff three decades ago.

The sound was kinda shitty, but from what I heard, it was pretty boring. I'll definitely give the full album a shot once that hits, and probably disregard this "preview" because I didn't even finish this song.

I'm enjoying this, they can do mid-paced songs really well in my opinion. I'm going to most definitely pick up this one when it comes out, they new to hurry up though! :metal:

This is rather good IMO :D will definitely check this out when it comes out. Was gutted I couldn't go to their last tour, seen them once before and they're sick live would recommend the show very much.

Once again, their vocalist proves to be completely bored-sounding. No intensity at all. As for the instrumentals, Destruction's Devolution album does the midpace stuff far better.

Even though I was an advocate for a very select few retro thrash metal acts, I'm beginning to think that anybody who has any interest in large quantities of retro thrash, have heard entirely not enough of 80s, original thrash metal.

PS: I might regret saying this later, and if I do, I'll retract this statement.
