I respect Lemmy a lot, but some of their stuff just sounds metal, and calling it otherwise, no matter what the band themselves say, would just be...wrong.

Theres also a spot for Dio, Kerry King, Vinnie Appice and Tom Morello, they were all backstage at one of the maiden gigs in America. Defintly most awesome sight seeing Dio, Kerry and all of Maiden backstage.

as far as the NWOBHM movement goes, Motorhead owns them left and right.

They are far from overrated and they deserve all the recognition they get. You can't even compare Maiden to Motorhead, Maiden are in another league and anyway Motorhead aren't even metal, they're punk.

doesn't matter. Motorhead > Maiden

Truth. Motorhead is better than Maiden, even though the bands aren't that similar.

Nay, Maiden > Motorhead. I like Motorhead quite a bit, but Iron Maiden are just so fucking orgasm inducing. Orgasm inducing vocals, orgasm inducing leads, orgasm inducing riffs, the way the vocals go over the leads is orgasm inducing, the drumming is sometimes orgasm inducing, and the bass is DEFINATELY orgasm inducing.

Even some of their short sections, like the intro to The Evil that Men Do, is bloody orgasm inducing.

Motorhead are just so much more consistent, and have been around longer, and put out more material. I like Maiden more myself, but the argument could be made for Motorhead in a very, very convincing manner.

Well I saw Motörhead live 2 days ago. Shit was fucking awesome (except for NO OVERKILL FUCK YOU LEMMY), though I still like Maiden better. I mean I'd never call Motörhead anything below godly, but it's a matter of taste.

Okay, SoD, we get it, you have shitty taste. No need to prove it to us anymore. Might have to change your name to agentsteel666.

I have impeccable taste, don't insult me.

Your username reminds me of Morbid Saint. As Morbid Saint is the most brutal fucking band on Earth, I forgive you for this one

Why the fuck is everyone talking about Motorhead? Are they in this movie? I don't think so.
