Well, the subject here is so-called 'melodeath', (i.e. Iron Maiden with a sore throat, just like all gaythenburg)
It broke big when the Carcass album Heartwork was breaking big.
Yes, Carcass were already popular before Heartwork, which is another subject but that's fine.
