Cheers,

I wanted to ask if anyone knows when the first album in metal was released as digipack?
The oldest one I have is Autopsy - Mental Funeral from 1991.

Perhaps anyone has one that came out earlier.

The first ones i remember were Sacred Reich - THe American Way and Sepultura - Arise, though i'm not sure anymore if "The Amercan Way" was released in DigiPack form when the album came out in 1990.

Yeah, Arise was also in 1991. I never saw an original firstpress version of Sacred Reichs album as Digipack, only the re-issue.
Another early one would be Obituary - The end complete from 1992.
