Anyone miss the forum that was on Dark Lyrics? It's been a while since they closed it down but I was just curious.

The pop-ups on Dark Lyrics fucking piss me off.

The lyrics on there are pretty much the same word-for-word as on MA. So I don't even go there anymore.

Actually, Dark Lyric gives less popups than any other lyric site I've been to. Other sites generally give 122234234234 popups and say "HOLY CRAP: YOUR COMPUTER WILL EXPLODE IF YOU DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS ANTI-VIRUS!!@#$11`11111" Sites like lyricsmania do that. It angers me.

Definitely.

I have that forum to thank for getting me into extreme metal and for introducing me to a lot of band's that would go on to be some of my favorites. And of course, as with most well populated forums, it had it's fair share of interesting conversation and interesting characters.

It has been mentioned but the pop ups and the amount of external links really does me in. Get rid of them and you have got yourself a decent lyrics site.
