Apparently Aaron's in a new band and the full lenght album will be out on September 24th. The band released a new song today and funny enough, this sounds like gothic metal/rock-era Paradise Lost with plenty of growls thrown in.

I'd advise you to hold off on what is likely to be a negative review and give this album the perspective it deserves.

Well I liked that a lot!

A tad repetitive and too controlled but still cool. Aaron Stainthorpe is a charismatic frontman who should do more things outside My Dying Bride. He's the big draw here more than those overt Paradise Lost musical motifs.

This.
I'm on board for anything featuring Aaron.

So, his side project is a slightly metallized Depeche Mode? (Yes, I know it's been filtered through latter-era Anathema and the like).

A bit cheesy and Calvinist, but that's to be expected. 7/10 and I'd be interested to hear the rest. Something tells me the record is short and contains 10 tracks.
