Pulled the trigger on this as soon as I saw the crowdfunding went up. Album of the year 2024.

Awesome can't wait Howie. Instant buy, just chipped in for a CD. The last one was so damn good, it's such a treasured piece in my collection and I'm sure Volsung Sword (very cool title by the way) will be too.

We are now at 18 % of our goal. Thanks to each and every one of you who have contributed so far. For those who haven't, claim your perk and see if you can help push us to 20 %.

For those of you who are wanting to get together with friends and place a group order, send me an email telling me what all you all want and which country you want me to ship the package to.

Saddened to find an email in the inbox saying my contribution to the crowdfunding campaign for Volsung Sword would be refunded. I'm a little surprised that it's failed after the success of the previous campaign and the almost universal praise Cold Steel for the Necromancer deservedly got. Hopefully Volsung Sword will still see the light of day sometime next year.

Come to think of it, I never even got around to listening to the split they put out with Twisted Tower Dire!
Does anyone care to expand on how it is.....were those newer TTD songs with Jonny Aune on vocals?
Damn, I need to track a copy of that down somehow.

Both are '90s demos. The TTD one is the Triumphing True Metal stuff + bonus songs from other sources that also had Janet on vocals. The Cauldron Born side was the '93 demo with Cat Denton singing.

Thank you my friend. I had a feeling that was the case.
I need a new TTD or Walpyrgus record now!
I really love Jonny's vocals.

I still plan to record the album, but it is going to take longer now.

Unfortunate that the crowdfunding didn't succeed but I'm glad the album will still be recorded.

I'm hoping to wrap up recording the album in July. I would like to start work on a new Briton Rites album this year, as well as launching a new doom project where I do everything but the drums. I already have some material written for those.

I've been teaching guitar lessons since 1989. I'm now teaching via Skype. The better my lesson studio is built up, the quicker I can fund these musical projects. I've been making sample lesson videos. If you guys would share these on social media and any other good metal message forums you frequent I would greatly appreciate it. Here is a link to the latest one:
