Red Fang - Dawn Rising

Probably the best song on the album. Features Mike Scheidt on lead vocals and sounds like YOB meets Soundgarden with some Melvins thrown in here and there.

Meaty goodness. Whales and Leeches pretty much living up to my expectations so far.

Had no idea Red Fang had a new album out! Gotta check it out soon

Korgull the Exterminator - Revenge of the Dead

Brutal thrashing black, hell's fire on your back.... yeah, just made that up. Maybe I'm mind connected to the lyricists of Aura Noir or something...

Oracle/Prodigy - Knights of the Round Table

Probably one of the best examples of how uspm sounds. Don't think you'll find any harder hitting riffs anywhere else when it comes to the genre.

Filtheater - Crucified Offerings for Those Antediluvian

Decided to check out one of SLK's many projects out of curiosity. I like this a lot, very raw and dreary. I'll probably buy it.

Still need to pick up Gloria. That one's great, too. Wish they'd release a third album already.

^ I was addicted to that one when it came out. Apparently now they don't even have the band namesake Michael Eden in the band anymore; what the hell, right?

Thy Majestie - Siblings of Tian

Kick ass power metal. Love discovering gems like this.

Φnality Blast "Fenrir Heart"

Rather strange-sounding Japanese power metal. I'm quite enjoying this.

Gorguts - From Wisdom to Hate

Checking these guys out, been exploring their catalog the past few days. I really like this album and Considered Dead. Obscura might take a while to sink in. I'm having a hard time getting my head around that one. I wanna give it a good chance before I write it off, though.

Unleashed-Warrior

Some gloriously awesome (for the most part) death n' roll right here. I can tell this band really threw out a blueprint for Amon Amarth with this album. Lovin' it.

Morbid Angel - Cleansed in Pestilence (Blade of Elohim)

Their supreme modern work. HERETIC is the most killer MA album aside from AoD.

Miasmal - S/T

Incredible Punky Death Metal. One of my favourite recent Death metal albums, And it could have been even better with a less muddled production.

Eden's Curse - Break the Silence

Like a safer sounding Edguy - melodic and rocking. Pretty decent but not as good as Trinity so far.

That album would be atleast listenable if the production wasn't crap.

NP: Vital Remains - Infidel

Cool riffs and leads here but the blastbeats become rather irritating quickly.

Morbid Angel - Unholy Blasphemies

The best MA album aside from Heretic. Also listened to FFttF and Gateways today, and watched some Trey interviews. He's the man!!!
