:np: God Dethroned- Bloody Blasphemy

Ravenous blackened death metal. Beastly album from a monster band.

Sepultura 'Spit' from 'Under A Pale Grey Sky' live in Brixton 1996

I don't want to imagine the hellpit they create when guitars rages after the bass-intro... :headbang:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8zgZRFbBqw

(not from Brixton ok, very rare to find on video)

Satan - alone in the dock.

Wow. This is incredible. Vocally could be one of the best songs i've ever heard.

Civil War - Brother Judas

The more I listen to this song, the quicker it becomes my second favorite song off The Killer Angels.

Wrathprayer - From the Depths of the Phlegethon

This album is a fucking savage, murderous beast. Cavernous and raw to the point of outright acidic, HUGE riffs and atmosphere. Awesome, awesome, awesome stuff.

Antigama - Meteor

This is really good! Particularly the second half of the album, when the band seems to include a few more eccentricities. I guess it's, overall, a little more straightforward than their last two albums, but it's definitely still the grind I enjoy from Antigama. Good addition to the 2013 catalogue.

Pain Of Salvation - Road Salt II w/ the two additional tracks from the Linoleum EP

Album works much better with 'If You Wait' and 'Gone' after 'Mortar Grind'. Seriously.

Shining (NOR) - The Madness and the Damage Done

WTF DID I JUST LISTEN TO? But it was not bad at all, just something the elitists would not even touch.

Dream Theater - Scenes From A Memory

First listen in ages. Only thing that would make it better would be some weed.

EDIT: ...And the weed-fairy has come to answer my prayers. Really dig this one. LaBrie's vocals don't annoy me nearly as much as they used to.

Angel Witch - Goodbye

I remember when you used to come to me at night,
You told me I was good for youuuuuuu
And then I found out about that other man,
and with that patronizing tone you told me that I was just another foooooooool

Radagast - "An Earthly Sacrament"

Awesome black metal/folk in the Cascadian style. I hope that they're working on more material and/or a physical release, because this is really, really good: http://radagast.bandcamp.com/

Depending on where you live, I wouldn't write that..!

Anyway I'm listening to: Peste Noire - Sale Famine Von Valfoutre
PN has become one of my favorite metal bands. The lyrics for this song go so well with the music.
The new album is fucking excellent too.

For reasons I can't quite place my hands on, I don't like this as much as the debut

Akitsa - Fôret disparue

After only two listens I'm already fairly confident that La grande infamie is my favourite Akitsa full-length. The rawest black metal with a thick atmosphere, beautiful.

Later this year. The album is already recorded, currently being mixed.

np: Disma - Chaos Apparition. Crushing, filthy and flawless death metal.

Mad Architect - Dreamworld

Pretty good PM with Snowy Shaw on vocals. Tight and energetic, the vocals add a real macabre atmosphere too.

Ooh, I loved him during his short-lived stint in Therion, glad to see he's still singing.

Listening to it now and loving it. Thanks for the heads-up!

Adorn - Gateway to Eden

Very very gorgeous "blackgaze." It has a wonderful romantic atmosphere similar to Alcest's Le Secret. Great use of piano and violin throughout as well. This is only a rough demo, the first from the project. Definitely showing a lot of promise.
