Today I am spinning
Abiotic- Symbiosis - pretty awesome a little disappointed that the whole ep released before it is on the album so there is only 3 new tracks on it.

Wintersun- Time I - I think is amazing and wish to hear the second part of the album so i can listen to it in its entirety like it is meant to be listened to.

Behold the Arctopus- Horroscension - Chaotic like the rest of their material it is awesome if you like that sort of stuff.

The HAARP Machine- Disclosure - Refreshing for tech metal pretty original and the vocals didn't end up ruining the album for me like i was afraid of.

Aarni - Omnimantia

Great EP.

Love the ending to "This Is Not A Mask" where it goes all prog rock.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wintersun were influenced by this album. This is way better however. There's riffs flying everywhere! :headbang:

How does it compare to Musta Seremonia, production and music wise? Also, why the hell did Svart reissue their second demo and not the first as well? I really don't get it.

The production is just terrible compared to Musta Seremonia, no other word to describe it. Very lo fi.
The drums sound like empty boxes(i like them strangely enough), the vocals are a little higher than the rest of the instruments and sometimes its a muddled mess.
But despite all these, its still very enjoyable.
The music is faster than Musta Seremonia, more chaotic with a bit of a punk influence in the riffs.
I wish they would reissue it as its a great demo.

Listening to it as part of the "Yogsothery" album, there couldn't be any band more fitting for this tribute than Aarni.

I've been looking into picking up the Nettlecarrier full-length. How is it?

Teitanblood - Seven Chalices of Vomit and Blood

Grinding, dirty, and crushing death/black. Like Incantation or Disma splashed with a touch of modern black metal aesthetics. A winner, for sure.
