Probably one of the best album closing songs ever.

Rotting Christ - P'unchaw kachun - Tuta kachun
Really digging the music so far. Track #2 on the record. I'm not the biggest RC fan but this is like a continuation of Aeolo and the guitar-work is quite commendable. Melodic riffs, solos et al.

Blind Guardian - Sacred Worlds, from At the Edge of Time

This really makes me wish I had my hands on an ice cold alcoholic beverage.

Glad you dig it. It's funny you mention that cause I've found that it's an almost perfect running song.

Stratovarius - Infinity

I know it's probably memories shading my opinion, but I love this album. It was the first Stratovarius album I ever heard, and I listened to it all the time while playing StarCraft late into the night.

Manilla Road - Mysterium

Second listen today. Gotta get all my lost time in, now that I actually own the CD.

All in all, I think it's a grower. Really love Hellroadie's soothing vocals, and Mark sounds fantastic on the ballads/title track. Though I'm still miffed at the gaping similarities of some songs' main riffs.

Edit: Do What Thou Will is an awesome one. Love the lyrics. Reminds me of Road Of Kings.

Ea - Laeleia

This is just... mesmirising, and enormous! Brilliant, moody, heavy as hell funeral doom majesty.

Ewigheim - Kinderwald, from Mord Nicht Ohne Grund

My gf bought me this album today because "it looked like something I would listen to." Going through my first listen now and it is some pretty decent goth metal.

Iced Earth - Dante's Inferno

It is almost insane how good this is sometimes, the whole album...you have atmospheric heavy parts as well as gratuitous slow parts that aren't afraid to go on a bit longer. Very nicely done album overall, forgot how good it was.

MSG - Armed and Ready

I just realised this riff has a jarring similarity to Iron Maiden's Hooks in You. It's such a simple riff though, probably coincidence, and I like Maiden's scale walk embellishment in the second bar.

Realmbuilder - Highwayman, off Fortifications of the Pale Architect

Okay, this is certainly solid guitar wise, but the vocals..... Damn, the vocals are seriously weak. This guys sounds bored. I don't know if I'll be able to get used to that.

Whoa, too much information :)

Amorphis - Magic And Mayhem
Revisiting this classic album (Tales from the Thousand Lakes). Makes for some good easy death/doom listening.

Slayer - Captor of Sin

'Haunting the Chapel' is undeniably very, very good, but somehow it never excited me has much as it seems to excite most people here. I suppose it's because it's sandwiched between my two favorite Slayer albums, and it's such a short EP. *shrug*

Omen - Last Rites.

JD Kimball, what a vocalist. The emotion, passion and spirit in this song is just incredible.

"Have your last meal, water and bread. Now the last rites are read !"

Accept - Shades of Death, off Blood of the Nations

A personal favorite of mine from this album. It might be a bit overlong, but I love the spooky atmosphere and the cheesy horror lyrics. Plus, Tornillo rules here. "ONE STEP BEYOOOOOOOOOOOOND!!!"

The Smiths - Strangeways, Here We Come

When I listen to one Smiths album, I inevitably listen to them all. This is probably my least favorite of theirs, which means it falls just shy of perfection.
