Árstíðir Lífsins - Gylðis kind hefr aldrei dvalist á einum stað

Christ knows what this translates into, as I can't even pronounce it, but this is bloody excellent. Excellent black/heathen metal (I guess), Ván records have another stunning band to add to their already quite good roster. I will be buying this.

Absolutely awesome.

Frank Ocean - Channel Orange

This will easily go down as my favorite non-metal/hard rock album of the year. Phenomenal vocals and consistently great songwriting.

Skullview - Legions of the Star Scroll, off Metalkill the World

This is bloody feral traditional metal. Savage, unreleting, hungry, yet never straying into extreme territory. Glorious music that reeks of Conan the Barbarian and epic quests.

Just listened to that last night. Good track, but caught me off guard coming after Helloween's "Light the Universe"!

Now listening to Kamelot "March of Mephisto". I've been on a huge Kamelot kick after seeing them last week in Philly.

Good song! Journey always reminds me of being in San Francisco, don't know why

Running Wild - Black Hand Inn

Probably my favorite album of theirs. For when you just gotta have your Rolf fix.

Absolutely awesome album. "The Privateer" is one of my faves. I find myself reaching for "Pile of Skulls" more though.

God, such an amazing game. The countless hours, the simple yet exhilarating and inventive gameplay, the subtle but compelling love story... Wondrous. :)

I agree completely, M_D. Everything about it it's awesome, and it manages to get you involved in an emotional level, something not many games are known for. When Farah dies*..... Well, you know :(

*Okay, that is, even though you get to "resurrect her" in a way. But still, it was pretty shocking.

Love the sample from the videogame at the beginning, creepy as hell.

Pretty damn good heavy metal. Anthemic and catchy - sweet vocals too.

Easily one of my favorite songs of theirs, coincidentally also on my favorite album of theirs.
