Swans - Children of God

What is this strange and brilliant music? I was playing silent hill and just listening to this in the background from the speakers behind me, and it's one of those music experiences that's so true, it sucks you out and leaves you with nothing left inside.

Been going through all the of Black Twilight Circle bands. Listened to The Haunting Presence EP a couple times, because it's really good. Seriously, The Haunting Presence needs to release more material.

NP: Shade Empire [Omega Arcane, 2013] - 1. Ruins (01:37/08:03) {193 kbp/s}

Track times seem to be different from what MA lists in spots but good enough.

I'm listening the last Rotting Christ album, the "whateveringreek". It's pretty cool, I liked Aealo, and this one is like the continuation of that one. To cut a long story short: Rotting Christ fucking rules.

I prefer Κατά τον δαίμονα του εαυτού to Aealo, even though the latter is quite good, still. I think the songs are very memorable, especially the first half, but every song has its own identity, and it could be a top contender for best of 2013.

Destruction - Spiritual Genocide

I'm behind in getting this one, that's for sure! Finally got it, though, and I'm almost through it. I already seem to like this one a touch more than Day of Reckoning. It's busier and the songs seem catchier, but of course I'll have to listen to it more. D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N. is still my favourite of the recent bunch, though.

Lord Belial - Death Is The Gate

Lord Belial is kinda underrated and overrated at the same time. People who don't like them probably also don't like ice cream and pizza, but their fans should realize that the only thing that saves them from mediocricy is their fabulously cheesy pathos.

"Voices of Syn" by Klaus Schulze

That beat in the background sounds like the Blackdance if that makes any sense.

Woods of Ypres - Lightning and Snow

I love the whole album, but based on listening to some of the previous material, and the generally cringe-worthy lyrics here and there, I think it's a great album in spite of ,as opposed to because of its creator.

Great band, too bad their career was cut short :( II is my favorite album from them.

I'm listening to something from Finland as well.

Hebogasil - Juippi. Weird sludge/doom/stoner/noise, cool shit.

II is my least favorite :/ I love I and III.

Reverend Bizarre - The Wandering Jew

This is just massive track. Really heavy riff, very long and rather slow. I'd say even mellow but "evil".

JW Pozoj - Queen Emeralda

Now here's a band that I am eager to start following. Their only two albums are very unique. Listening to the riffs, they are unlike what I would usually hear from 'black metal.'
