Cranial crushing death/doom with an "urban" feel to it. Passed out while playing through their albums on repeat once. My cerebral cortex felt like a walnut in the kung-fu action grip of a junkie fiending for a fix of freebase.

I used to listen to this song in middle school like 5 years ago. It was one of those obscure songs I loved but I wound up forgetting about the band altogether for years. Just rediscovered this today and I am blown away by how unbelievably awesome it is.

I gotta confess, for whatever reason I'm finally starting to dig Type O Negative. For quite a while I haven't liked them too much (despite having admired Peter Steele's voice for a long time), but though I do still find that listening to whole albums can get a little boring and I definitely don't like all the elements in the band I am realizing that they have made some awesome stuff. This particular tune is one of my favorites lately, and World Coming Down in general is quite a good album.

Oh man. Combined with listening to Hammerheart, then imagining Quorthon listening to Candlemass everyday, these guys definitely hit the spot with the epic feel. Loving the choir mixed with the really oppressive doomy feel. Well fucking done.
