Exhorder - Into the Void (Black Sabbath cover), off The Law

A flawless exercise in heaviness. These guys sure know how to take a classic song and amplify it. Not saying that it beats the original, but the improved thickness and added vitriol sure as hell don't hurt it.

Kawir - Hymn to Apollo. This band is just amazing.

I only have the (2003) Zemial / Kawir - Δαίμων and the (1994) Sigh / Kawir Splits. Where should I start?

Metallica - Blackened

And the early Metallica venture goes on... Only thing I need is some BASS.

Kawir - Isotheos.

Kawir is a band that, in my opinion, grew consistently better over time, so anything from the Arai (2005) album and onwards will do. They have still developed their style a lot since then, though. I'd say your best bet is to get the Ophiolatreia (2008) and/or Isotheos (2012) albums, see if you like them, and delve further into their history from there. That's how I got into them, and they're among my favourite bands now.

Senmuth - Denderah Hypostyle

An instrumental journey far from here that sounds rather trippy. I like it!

Edge of Sanity - Purgatory Afterglow

Some of the most infectious death metal ever brewed up. EoS had a streak for the ages through the 90s.

Alice in Chains - I Can't Remember, off Facelift

Bouncy, Sabbathian riffing, subtle hooks, and vocals to die for. Alice at its best.

I can see this band exploding into popularity any second now - I guarantee you'll enjoy it if you like Summoning.

Axel Rudi Pell - World of Confusion (The Masquerade Ball, Pt II)

First time I'm hearing something of this band. Not sure what to think about it so far but the vocals sound great - that's for sure.
