What do you think about this band?

I think that it could be like Cannibal Corpse or Deicide, because it has very good musicians.

The Autophagous Orgy is one of my favorite albums. It's VERY GOOD Death Metal...

Why they split-up??

I have no idea why they split but heres my opinion on the band.

I actually recently discovered these guys. They play some awesome old school death metal crossover grindcore stuff. The inhaled vocals I dont like. However they dont use them all the time so for once it doesnt bother me so much. Burping, Sink Drain, Pig Squeals, and Bree Brees are the only vocals I cannot get into.

my head isn't very clear this morning, so i'm having trouble putting thoughts into text, but Lord Gore are/where GREAT!
the intros were excessive but other than that both albums are damn hear perfect.

anyone wanting a really strong blend of Impetigo, Rigor Mortis, (very early) Deceased, Pungent Stench, Autopsy, late 80's thrash as a whole do well to give them a listen. There's alot of really interesting and hooky moments happening in Resickened but groups from this era really have a hard time creating and i feel that, Lord Gore at least in the American scene is one of the best things to happen in a long long while.

i think the split up had alot to do with the guitarist known as SCSI i'm not going into details i am only 65% accurate on but i think some of the members felt it would be best if instead of changing things around and risking letting people down, they just split up on a high note.

and yaaah Resickened is one ridiculously high note to quit on haha!

So far, this album The Autophagous Orgy is very awesome. The duel layered vocals are killer!

I think Neil wanted to concentrate more on Bloodfreak/Frightmare. The guitarist from Lord Gore is also in it.

Anyone knows the real names of Nekro Von Gore, Gurge and Jason Voorhees?

Razorback Records pretty much revolves around these types of bands. Thats where I recently came across Lord Gore. Not just the music but the concepts behind all these bands are amazing. Horror Movie based Death Metal and what not. All of these bands have amazing artwork as well.

I think they're pretty cool. Their vein of death metal is interesting, I like their stuff on Autophagous Orgy. Sometimes the lyrics are really lame, but other than that they're really cool.

speaking of razorback, im so anxious for fondlecorpse, and though not razorback, bone gnawer.

Yeah, Im dying for Fondlecorpse's Creaturegore. The songs they have on the Razorback MySpace, and their MySpace page sound very promising. Anyone know when the actual release date is? Their Myspace says 1.1.09 but its clearly been pushed back.
