Just started mine. Just have the patches laid out here to show what the final product will look like.

Im looking for more sites that offer decent patches for customers in the U.S. I only know Abyss and Negative Existence. Any other sites that offers a wide range of band patches that are high quality and reasonable?

I've actually spraypainted denim before... I wouldn't recommend trying to "color" a jacket with it (certainly not the WHOLE thing), but it can be done*, and it's not thick or gummy if you spray it right... just don't use anything "glossy" or with metallic particles or something in it...

*I was in high school *shrug*. I think I spraypainted something on a pair of jeans... I also had an ill-fitting grey t-shirt with "GWAR" and a goofy monster face sprayed on it in blue paint... IDK where that shirt is or i'd post it.

As for dye, just don't use that Rit or Tulip bullshit. It's worth spending a little money on quality fabric dyes... Just follow the directions on the box carefully or you could risk the dye washing right out, which is fucking annoying, especially if you spent the extra money on good dye.

But now to a practical question: what's the best (easiest and most durable) way to sew them on? Which pattern/thread type should I use? And when it comes to the sublimation back patch, should I just sew the borders or should I do something special to make sure it sits neatly to the denim?

Edit: btw, that Bathory small patch on the left is very nice, would be great on the shoulder or chest of my black jacket, where did you got it?

Regarding the small ones I use black sewing line, 2 to 5 millimeter per sew, go along the inner part of the outer border to make it seamless. I do that by hand, quite easy. Should last a lifetime.

That's a tight Neanderthal patch, but honestly, a bunch of patches on a flannel looks sorta tacky.

http://metalnegro.com/ usually has a lot of patches. Never really bought anything from then though, so I don't know if they're legit or not.

Hm, the backpatch I'm planning on sewing on is a sublimation back patch with creases in it (it was sent folded twice). Should I just sew it on and hope that the creases will disappear with time, or should I do something first in order to get rid of the creases?
