In my opinion, this is a terrible video. Part of the song has been removed, and the content in the video is overall quite boring. I had higher expectations when I heard they were releasing a video for this song, and well, I was let down.

Your thoughts?

Does it have the keyboard solo? If not then it sucks. Pretty much only thing worthwhile in the entire song.

Well, not too bad to tell the truth. I've never heard new Opeth, so it was kind of a nice surprise!

And yes, it has a keyboard solo. Nice work!

I wasn't too crazy about it either. I fucking hate edits, I didn't like the Porcelain Heart video either, it looked good, but it was edited. I'd rather just listen to the original.

The video did kind of disappoint me, only for the reason that they cut some of the good parts out (like the intro). It's still better than The Grand Conjuration, but I don't see how this video for Burden has any correlation with the song's lyrics.

It's a real shame about the editing, and I would have liked it to have that end melody going on for as long as it does on the album version (about a minute) because it's fucking beautiful.

But, yeah, good job on including the keyboard solo. :P

bah...ever since they lost lopez and peter they have been dead to me. RIP good opeth. This track was probobly the only good one of the last album in my opinion. The rest of the album sounded way too forced just like ghost reveries.

Uhh Lopez and Peter were both on Ghost Reveries..

And anyway, Axe is an awesome drummer and Fred is an awesome guitarist, just because they replaced Lopez and Peter doesn't change that.

Sorry off topic.

Anyway I don't like videos full stop because of the editing and most the time they suck ass and don't have anything to do with the song/lyrics whatsoever.

Well, this just further confirms that Opeth are shit at making videos
First of all, their songs are too long for them, forcing the songs to be edited, cutting out most of the awesome-ness. And then, the videos are usually boring and irrelevant

STOP WITH THE VIDEOS OPETH, PEOPLE STILL HEAR ABOUT YOU QUITE EASILY!
