I know Ian Dorsch does ZP's theme song, but that's not what I was asking for. I was asking for the song played during the ad, but it seems that the ad switched to Halo ODST as opposed to the Crime Land or whatever game, so I guess I'll figure it out on my own.

Hey,

I'm new here, but I need some help. I am editing my music and I have a track labeled "Execution Design" by Grievance. I figured it was Grievance because I hear Anders Friden on vocals, but I cannot locate anywhere what album or what track listing it is.

I recall downloading this YEARS ago, froma website offering a lot of Grievance tracks. However, I am clueless here. Can anyone help?

The file is only 127kb big. It's something famous like Metallica or Manowar, it's on the tip of my tongue but it's just not coming to me. Oh yeah, sorry for me sucking on the guitar there, didn't put much effort into it.

I think it's a classic rock song, I may be wrong, can anyone figure it out for me?!

Does anybody know what band is sampled on the track "The Last of Summer" by Windham Hell, from the 8:41 mark to 8:52? I've cropped the relevant section to youtube for a better chance of a response:

Info to the video says it all. I've looked all over the damn place for info on the soundtrack of the DVD version, nothing.
It's not "The Hotheads - Slide Slide" either as far as I could tell from the few clips I heard. That's in a completely different scene.

Okay, if anybody's interested, I finally figured out that song. It's "Stranger In Sonora" and available for full streaming here: http://www.ravenwoodmusic.com/music/sea ... 030&page=2

I heard a Metallica song about three months ago and I've since forgotten the name of it. I'm almost certain it was something off of "Ride the Lightning" or possibly "Kill 'em All". All I know at the moment is that the opening riff (or rather first 5 seconds) sounds exactly like the one that can be heard on Guillotine's "Leprosy". Here's a link to the song.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you so much. It's a great song. I also noticed that Kreator's "Tormentor" sounds very similar to these 2 songs.

Few months a go on youtube i watched a videoclip of Gothic/Black metal band.I think they're from Norway or Finland.
The video was showing the band playing in some kind of white room.
Oh and the vocalist had red short hair.
Anyone know what song/band that is? :)

here's two samples i recorded off of my old cassettes. the quality is bad but i hope it would be good enough to recognise them.
the first one is the beginning of some thrash metal song.
the second one sounds like an intro.
both songs are quite old (before 1995 at the very least).

The second one, the intro, is King Diamond - The Candle from the Fatal Portrait LP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LysvBA7pAM

I think I recognize the first clip, but can't quite place it. Reminds me of DBC or English Dogs, but I think it's someone else.

i heard a song at a show, on the stereo before the bands played, and its killing me not knowing who it is. unfortunately i have no idea whatsoever about the title or band name so i can't provide a youtube video or anything, just a description.

it was a doom song with simple, almost tribal drumming, and very low, growled vocals. it sounded like the singer was saying "cleansing", then another word or phrase, and then repeated that whole phrase again and again. i don't remember any other parts to the song.

i know that's not a lot to go on but if anyone can give any ideas it would be much appreciated.

thats definitely not it. the vocals were much lower pitched, the song was much slower, and the guitar/bass was probably very sparse because i can't really remember anything about it, besides it must've been very slow as well.

thanks, though.

I remember roughly about 3 years ago I used to Listen to black metal radio on Live365.com
There was this certain song that would play where the chorus is simply the lead singer screaming Baphomet. There were no Synths as I recall and I searched as well as my knowledged allowed through anything with baphomet in the title and I always come up empty. Does anyone know what this song might be and who the band is? I keep thinking its enthroned but Im not sure. Thanks and sorry for the vague request.

A former bandmate of mine (which we kicked out because he was an all around douchebag). Many of the things he said were obviously lies, like saying he could get us to play at big festivals before we even had a demo.

Anyway, he said he used to be in a once big labelled band called "Intolerable", even though googling that brings up no results of any bands. He said that he had the rights to the songs after the band dissolved, and we ended up using one of "their" songs on our demo.

The thing is that "their" demo had at least one song that was certainly not their own, it was a song by The Gathering. Not a cover song, just the actual song put on "their" demo. So I'm thinking that probably the whole band was some bullshit he just made up, collecting some songs and calling it their demo.

So if I can actually find who originally made this one song which we ended up using, I can finally have the proof.

The song is a typical gothic metal song, a bit Within Temptation-like, except the female vocals were really masculine sounding. The chorus is just her singing "awaaaaaay" in a long vocal-wank. Then there's a couple of guitar solos, and a heavy riff with growling vocals, the lyrics are "mourn my shimmering star" or something. It's a bit catchy song, but you get sick of it pretty quickly, at least we did. I can send the song in a mail if anyone thinks they have a clue and need to hear it.

Does anyone recognize this, or know who it could possibly be?

Okay, I heard this song at a Magrudergrind show the other night. At this venue, they play cd's over the loudspeakers in between band sets, and this song started with the intro "You mean to tell me, the only way you can get off, is if you shit in her mouth?"

It's driving me nuts, any help appreciated.

I remember hearing some pop/alt song years and years ago that goes like "I'm just a crossroad, I'm here waiting for you". I've never found out what the song is, can someone help me ID this song and the artist? I don't really like the song, but this has been nagging at my conscience for years.

Nah, that's not it, the song was very mellow. It had heavy-ish guitars but the vocals were kinda emo.
