Not so slamming, though you may dig Death Therapy nonetheless...

I've been trying to remember an album lately that was mostly piano. I'm almost positive there was a "The Crying Orc" (Burzum) cover at the end, but apparently that wasn't enough to find it. I don't know if they're in the archives, but I think their name was a fairly long word that might have started with the letter p. Thanks, all.

Not piano, but keyboard and with "The crying orc" at the end...

That's not it, but thanks for trying! What I'm looking for was probably all original material minus the Crying Orc cover at the end, and the whole album was strongly centered on piano/keyboards. Wish I could remember more! I'm still fairly certain that the band name was one long word (15+ letters).

Hey guys I need help tracking down a band.

They are (were?) a brutal death metal band, I think from the US, that had these random moments of post-rocky beauty. The only other thing I remember about them that stood out is that one of the songs started with this sample from Eastbound and Down.

Anyone know who I'm talking about?

Some years ago I listened to this band and remember them being quite good, but somehow don't remember anything about them. The only things I remember are that they were a Sludge metal band and in one of the music videos the vocalist was with long hair, beard and wearing a beanie hat. I know this isn't a lot, but still i hope somebody knows

Hey guys! Am hoping you lot could help me to pinpoint a name of a particular black metal band.

I remembered they have a sort of peculiar/odd "rainbowish?" or just greenish+yellowish+white colour scheme for 1 of of their album art. Typical imagery of trees if i am not wrong, odd colour choice with the style of music they play/played.

Probably from Eastern European country, but am finding it hard to get their name in my head. Any ideas ?

Hi,

I'm looking for a folk/power(?) metal song, but I can't remember who was the artist and what is the song called. I only remember one of their music video, it starts like a usual fantasy RPG, some guy gathering the party members, a rogue, maybe a mage, a warrior chick etc. They are wandering all around, and at the end of the video clip, they attack a peaceful llama/alpaca herd. Honestly, I've tried to search for it every possible way, but I wasn't able to find anything related to the above mentioned. Please, help me if you have any ideas.

Thanks in advance!

This is from a Sempiternal Deathreign live bootleg and I think it's one of the many instances of them covering another band, but which band?

thx. They are not listed here on metal archives. They sound like Motorhead. So how did you find them? By lyrics? What music/lyricssearch service are you using?

I have been trying to find this since last year, but no sucess. This song was used as the entrance music of professional wrestler Ravage (hence why the laughs from the wrestler and the ring announcer's voice) at the event "Don't Eat the Black One" on March 19th, 2005, held by the promotion CHIKARA.

Here's the audio.

Unfortunately, that's the only time this song played.

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Guys, check this Falkenbach song's synth that starts @ 1:30 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGdsAtTpG6g

It heavily reminds my of a pop song from the 80's, in the vain or Roxette, or something like that, but I can't remember which one, or if it was a regular song or a movie theme song, this is killing me, please help me!

Hi
I have been trying to ID this song since the late eighties without success, hope someone here can help...

It is an instrumental piece with a nice melancholic guitar solo on it together with some heavy organ sound. Unfortunately I only have a tape copy (2min) with rather bad sound quality that I posted on youtube.
My hope is that the melody is quite easy to recognize/remember. I believe the song is from early eighties and it is probably a live recording.

Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRZGEqxe46k

or just search for "unknown guitarsolo hardrock ling" on youtube.

Thanks in advance!

Daniel

Sounds like a Michael Bolton thing.

Oh, I wasn't being very serious. Thought you weren't, either. Anyway, I'd say check out Kansas or Aphrodite's Child instead.

Unfortunately I was serious (the song has been on my mind for years), but must say I didn't know what to say about your comment
I know Kansas and Aphrodites Child very well and don't think it is from them, even if the genre is definitely pomprock/symphonic. Will continue my search...

Does anybody know what the music is that's in the Intro of Blood's "Gas, Flames, Bones"? It sounds extremely familiar, like I've heard it before, but I do not recognize the origin of where I heard it from.

Any possible information would be appreciated. Thank you.

PS. If you'd had a look on YouTube, you would've found your answer; many Blood vids link to it in the comments.
