Same here. Either the set-list has not changed since the tour started or thrashfan was at the same Philly show...

I was at the Milwaukee show, the list was very similar, but I could have swore Lotus Eater came earlier in the set for the show I was at.

Yeah, I was at the Milwaukee show too. I'm pretty sure Lotus Eater came after Serenity Painted Death. Aside from that, the set list looks identical.

Actually, yeah, there was a whole lot, surprisingly. I was at the St.Louis date to whoever mentioned a different area, and that was there exact, in order set. I heard at some shows where High on Fire didn't make it they played A Fair Judgement and Godhead's Lament also.

Yep...Funny thing was the song Bleak, the soundcut off half way through, so they played Bleak in two parts. Actually, I don't think they played Hope Leaves, I'm sure it was To Rid of the Disease

What a damn great setlist! They could stop playing Night and the Silent Water on every show, though. There are better songs on Morningrise.

Saying this song name in caps is like coloring a pink flower with a black sharpie.

Great setlist, although I think they're playing two of their best songs first, better not peak too early. Anyone know/think if they'll be changing the setlist around for the European leg? Seeing them in three weeks :)

Jesus Christ, we have a new Opeth Setlist thread every couple of weeks. Calm the fuck down, no matter how much time has passed, they still are shit.

That's pointing out the obvious, it is clear that music is a subjective form of work that will have dissenting opinions on all sides, and saying things like this to feel better about your favorite bands is pretty futile. He doesn't need to tag everything with "in my opinion" or "I think," because that would be redundant on a topic of such a subjective art form.

To Bid You Farewell is one of the few songs by Opeth that I can stand. It would be nice to hear it live.

If it were a "what do you think about Opeth?" thread his comments would be just dandy, but where's the logic in voluntarily reading a setlist thread about a band you don't like to stick your 2 cents about how bad the band is?

That's true, but in that case, why bother pulling the "opinion" card instead of just saying what you said?

If this thread were about trains, they would all be derailed.

Yes they did, but they scavenged them from animals that had died naturally. "Viking" is actually an archaic word for "Vegan".

For me, in Atlanta, their Damnation tune was "Windowpane" otherwise same here.

It was the fourth time I'd see Opeth and they'd never played a single song from an album older than My Arms, Your Hearse, so I was ecstatic to hear TNATSW. Maybe next tour will be Nectar?

I could do without hearing Demon Of the Fall every time. Thats their most overrated song. Replace it with April Ethereal.

When he said a song off Morningrise, I thought they were gonna play Black Rose Immortal and yeah we had a different damnation song here: to rid of the disease.

They played the same set at the Michigan show, just in a different order.

I'm pretty sure this was approxamitely the same at the show I went to in Norfolk. There was a little moshing, but it got broken up pretty quick. People are dumb. There was one guy interpretive dancing in the middle of the mosh pit though. Gay as hell.
