Are you sure those are band sanctioned? I check Artillery's website and couldn't find anything about By Inheritance being a free download.

He's obviously not aware that this thread is not for illegal downloading.

Here's a link to my debut full length album/demo, currently only available digitally:

http://www.mediafire.com/?dhna7hinn3d4q

Sorry that it's an "indirect" link, but it's mine anyways so it's totally legal and such...

Deprive the Deceased has a promo available from their Facebook page, which can be downloaded from http://www.mediafire.com/?6my896k27f88qlg (this is the link provided on their Facebook page). It's pretty damn slammy.

Dephosphorus have put their debut EP up for free download:

http://dephosphorus.com/download-axiom/

;) Note that I recommend ordering the vinyl if you can; the sound quality is so much better.

thrashtidote, which part of "band sanctioned" you have trouble understanding? "Band" or "sanctioned"? Or both?

I'm going to edit a few posts now. Make sure the links are actually BAND SANCTIONED in the future.

I have a feeling we will have a nice conversation one of these days, and it's likely to end with a click of the "ban" button. Clean up your act, nobody loves a fake "metalhead" who doesn't give a shit about the rules, and steals from his favourite bands.

Wizard's first two albums are available to download on their website, but you gotta do it song by song which is a bit of a pain.

I haven't downloaded these (but plan to) so I'm not sure if it's any good. They aren't reviewed too highly here, but, hey, it's free!

Beyond Death (Pre-Cannibal Corpse band feat. Jack Owen and Alex Webster) have their first 2 demos and the 2008 album for download on their official site (http://www.beyonddeath.us/html/media.html).

Thrash Metal band Sabretung have their 2006 EP and 2011 full length for free download on their Bandcamp page (http://sabretung.bandcamp.com/). Very Sepultura-esque, worth checking out.

My new band Gods of War have just released our first EP. It's available for free download here:

http://www.mediafire.com/?9iay78m6kupmesj

I think it's best described as melodic death metal but there is a lot of different influences such as traditional metal and power metal; all with harsh vocals. Check it out!

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but hell, it deserves to be mentioned again.

http://cormorant.bandcamp.com/

Band: Cormorant

Genre: Progressive Folk/Black Metal

MA: http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Cormorant/

An issue came up with paypal, so Cormorant said fuck it and put their stuff up for free. They also have an album coming up soon, so check that out.

Omnihility - Excellent band in the vein of Origin and other more fast-tempo death-metal bands. Blistering and brutal, they have some tracks for listen and free download posted recently that can be found here:

http://www.reverbnation.com/omnihility

I've seen them live and this is some real brutal stuff and worth checking out. Omnihility should be releasing their debut on Sevared Records by early next year, according to the band's email response that I got.
