I was at this live gig and in between sets there was this random guy mad about something, really pissed off for whatever reason.

then this other dude just says to him:

"You need to chill out man, you look like someone either shot your dog or said CoF is a BM band."

Now, I almost fell from laughing so hard.

Later it got me thinking if there are any other jokes that involve metal bands or artists, or any metal related jokes in general?

If you know any then please share them, or even make your own, why not?

Some random guy: why didn’t you just buy the cd? It’s cheaper and you can put it in your pocket.

Some other random guy walking by the conversation: That’s very unmanowar of you, FALSE!

Not necessarily a saying but at one the previous Maryland Deathfests, when Morbid Angel was playing a tune off their Ilud album, two guys in front of me where doing the robot dance and other goofy ass moves.

This is a real stretch. There are no sayings involving heavy metal bands.

There's the phrasing "I wanna have you baby" (if that's correct english...I don't know...) when some hyperactive fangirlies worship a certain artist.
In German tha phrasing would be "Ich will ein Kind von dir." or (if you for whatever reason DON'T want a child from him) "Ich will kein Kind von dir"

Now there is a german band called Kain (like that bible dude) and it has become a running gag on their gigs to scream "Ich will KAIN Kind von dir".

That's the only phrasing I know of. And it isn't even that funny.

HAHA!; what an unexpected and sudden trip down the memory lane! Seriously man, I was secretly making that Beherit joke for years whenever I stood in front of their stuff. But I didn't have anyone to share it with or tell who'd understand, so reading this nowadays is really quite the flashback!

"You can only trust yourself and the first six Black Sabbath albums."

I'd extend it to include Dio Sabbath and a couple Martin-era albums, but that's just me.

Not quite sayings or jokes but there's an Austrian metal-related cartoon series which also produced a "metal dictionary". They take (among other words) band or artist names and turn them into verbs along with giving them a meaning which is "typical" for the band/artist. Of course they provide example sentences on how to use the words correctly.

larsulrichen > (to) larsulrich (sth): to do something with tremendous self-confidence while actually not being that good at it
manowaren > (to) manowar: to make a fool of oneself (non)voluntarily by overtly emphasised masculinity

It's funnier and sounds better in German but in the end it's just mildly entertaining...
