On the page it says that Murder Squad has reformed. I understand why someone would think this, as the band released an EP, created an official facebook, and performed one show live (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3eHUin6AyM). However, is there any source that this is an actual reformation?? Both tracks on the EP are Autopsy covers (and from what I understand, not new recordings), the official page features no statement of the band's activity (and hasn't been logged into or posted on for a whole year), and the live show appears to be a one-off, only for the birthday of Peter Stjärnvind.

Granted, I don't think Matti ever bothered to explain why the band actually broke up in the first place (apparently he asked Uffe if they were still doing Murder Squad after he left Entombed, and Uffe just said "no", and that's all we know), so who knows?

They are actually playing live here in Stockholm in a couple of weeks.

New album would be killer

Hmm, updates on the situation would be nice as Murder Squad are fucking awesome and sadly overlooked. It's really a beautiful thing hearing a band dedicated to worship of an already phenomenal band be unable to keep themselves from putting their own refined stylistic touches into it to bring it to a whole new level. More material would be most welcome.

i just would hope there is more crunch to the guitars than the album I have. it's good, the songs are there, just seems lacking balls in the guitar department.
