"Coexistance" - Beyond Creation

Not usually too into Death Metal as a whole, but these guys are incredible. Anyone else familiar with them?

Sepultura - Inner Self
The tunes that got me into metal. More than 12 years onward and Sepultura's early albums still kick ass.

They were great!
That's a pity what they're doing now but, at least, I saw them live once (although with Derrick) and Andreas was the shit!

Yeah I saw them with Derrick as well but that was about 8 years back. They were touring with Machine Head and probably the best moment of the entire show was when Andreas joined MH for a cover of 'Creeping Death'. Luckily, they didn't butcher the song and it came out pretty well.

Dio - Shame On The Night
Been spinning Dio for the past few days. Next stop, Rainbow.

Virgin Steele - Pagan Heart

This track has its moments: the storming riff around the 3 minute mark and David's tiger screams at the end sound very cool. The verses themself sound quite dull due to the weak production and restrained vocals though which is a pity. I can imagine what this album would have sounded like had these 2 things been better.

Black Sabbath - Never Say Die!

Lovin' the keyboards all throughout this 'bum. Air Dance is majestic. Yes, I just used that word.

And who can forget 'Over To You'? I feel like Ozzy actually leaves my room once this song finishes.

NP: Obliteration - Nekropsalms

Oh yes.

Some years ago I was watching Obliteration play at a festival in Germany and during their performance it was announced that a terrorist attack (Breivik killing about 70 people) had struck Norway. This gave the band and their performance such a huge boost that they ended up as one of the best bands on the fest at the time.

Pentagram - Review Your Choices

Best Pentagram album.

Ihsahn - Malediction

'AngL' is still the best album Ihsahn has done in his solo career. If he ever hopes to come close to it again, he'd better ditch that irritating saxophone bullshit that makes me want to rip my own head off.

Avantasia - Black Orchid

This is fucking awesome. Easily the best leaked song for the new album yet.
