Glad you read the part that said no requests.

Anyways so this post is slightly more valid...

Please be sure that any downloads you post here are sanctioned by the band in question. I may have failed to make that clear to you when I referred you to this thread. My apologies.

Consult the first post in this thread for more details.

http://home.arcor.de/derheiko/Deface%20Audio.htm

Click on the picture to find links to the MP3s of this old melodic death metal band (1993-1995)

Click "Und hier das komplette Demo" for a .ace file containing the whole demo in 128k mp3s.

They also have a link at the bottom for unreleased songs, which contains more MP3s.

For those of you who really like drone and funeral doom metal... as well as ambient and any sort of music in that style, Stijn van Cauter has multiple projects... at least 15 in fact...

http://svc.nulll-void.com/music/mp3s.htm

Some projects have their discography up for download, others only have a few songs. With ambient music, however, that usually means that a few songs will still provide you with at least a half hour of entertainment.

I recommend Until Death Overtakes Me and Beyond Black Void.

In here, you can post links to band websites that offer downloads of ENTIRE releases for free. Not just samples, not just a couple of songs, but FULL albums, demos, EPs, live shows, etc. And this is the ONLY thing you can post.

On another note, shouldn't this thread be stickied?

Canopy, a Swedish melodic death band. I don't like them, but who knows, you might.

Johnny Lokke

Most of the albums are just samples, but the Early Warning album is the full thing.

Ummm... the owner of the site (username MeMyselfAndI) posted already.

And while I'm posting, might as well put up some more stuff.

Haha I remember this band! Pretty old, and some nice guitar work...too bad the singer sounds like the idiot from Fagonforce.

Huh? The singer sounds nothing like Dragonforce's singer, he sounds a lot like Grave Digger's singer. The music is like old speed metal Blind Guardian.

I have not visited it for a long time, and unfortunately it seems, that some links are broken, sorry for that.
Normally, you could download their whole 2000, 2002 and 1999 albums from here:
http://truemetal.org/holydragons/enhd03.htm

You can try to contact the band and ask about it, if you wish, since this is clearly a technical problem and not their intention.

Kanthaka - Czech melodic death metal (not Gothenburg) with an experimental edge, claims influences like Mike Oldfield and J.M. Jarre, also some folk influences.

Frozen Mist
"Dark Melodic Fantasy Metal" is what the guy calls it. This guy started this band as a solo project in 2004, making songs with Fruity Loops and released like 14 albums in two years, and nearly all of them can be downloaded for free.

http://frozenmist.bravehost.com/
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pageart ... dID=259275

Traverse Thru Realms Of Nevermore is recommended (Churlbrood Dweller is awesome).

edit: Hmm... seems like he's removed the option to download, you can only stream his songs now. That sucks.

I liked this album... You might want to give it a listen if you like the Black / Ambient stuff. Not many vocals for those that are disturbed by them.
