I bought Scorpion's Lonesome Crow on Digi CD, Cassette and Vinyl. One of my faves! More lately, I bought Bronze Chains and Shadows on Bandcamp which was quite good and now I am waiting for the new Gallows Whisper Tape from Sirius!! |

Cheers CDs for car rides and passive home listening (filling up the CD changer and doing chores/working out) and vinyl for attentive listening, enjoying large format artwork, and (sometimes) better/preferred sound quality. I will say I try to only buy tapes if the music is exclusive to the format. The poor sound quality and lack of playability in the car make them unappealing and are usually only purchases of a conceding manner. But of course in my weakness I've been persuaded by the likes of alternate artwork, special packaging, etc.. You must have understanding friends, none of mine understand buying music in any format whatsoever. Dio - Sacred Heart, Angry Machines (CD) I think that completes the Dio studio album collection. Rush - 2112 (LP) Saw a 1985 pressing in excellent condition down at the shop so I grabbed it. A little wear on the sleeve but the record looks amazing. |
