That cover obviously reminds me of Think This and Privilege of Power. Obviously not as good though!

In real and folded out the cover looks better. Music is really good though. I won't say the music is better than think this, but think this is an amazing album.

Neither the art nor the album are better than Think This. :p

I was actually disappointed by Sea of Ignorance, even more after Ruins of Humans being such an awesome comeback. I don't know man, it just sounds stale and uneventful to the point that I think it's their worst album.

I only own this one and When The Sky Turns Black so I can't compare, but I think it's a nice one.

Don Gates leaving the band prior may be the reason. I think he was the main writer.

Idolatry is VERY heavy. Be careful!

Speak of the devil, I just ordered a cassette copy of Master Control by Liege Lord today. $8 with free shipping, original on Metal Blade. This is important to me because I want an original LP but until then I'll be able to check out the album and know with certainty there's no remaster fuckery going on.

Yep! I have the reissue CD and I think it sounds great. I'm not very picky about remasters though.

Behemoth - The Satanist
Drudkh - Forgotten Legends
Drudkh - Microcosmos
Vektor - Black Future
Vektor - Outer Isolation
Vektor - Terminal Redux

It took a whole fucking month for the Vektor albums to arrive, but whatever, it went by quickly. I wish my copy of Outer Isolation had the lemon-lime cover; this isn't that nice.

Yeah, the artwork on Earache's reissues of Outer Isolation isn't as good as the original, but it's still pretty nice like as an alternate cover or something.

Yeah, it's still an alright cover, but that one is really sexy.

The Vektor triple, good choice!
I also have the newer version of Outer Isolation but I don't really mind it too much.

The new Grave Miasma EP is the bands best release imo. I like how there is more tempo changes and the slightly more chaotic feeling they added to some of the songs.

I get too many CDs each month to list everything here, but I do want to mention one I got yesterday that took me by surprise. The new Droids Attack (Stoner Rock) album called "Sci-Fi Or Die" arrived with a busted jewel case. A non-issue as I have tons of blank jewel cases laying around. When I pulled the tray card from the cracked jewel case I notice there's two tray cards doubled up, a second later I see a 3" mini-cd hiding between the two tray cards. The mini-cd contains a "hidden" bonus track and the extra tray card is actually different from the standard album one and includes the lyrics to the bonus track/cd. I thought that was quite clever of the band to include a hidden bonus track on a separate disc and hide it within the standard albums packaging. Well played Droids! Oh, stoner rock fans should check the album out, it's better than any of their previous releases.

Nice pickup on that Mortuary Drape. One of my favorite bands of all time, easily. They're what would happen if Venom and Possessed and Mercyful Fate got tossed in a blender in an Italian kitchen.

Since the distro thread in the buying/selling subforum is pretty much dead, I'll mention here that NWN is having a 30% sale.

Do those Inquisition reissue by Season of Mist sound any different from any of their previous reissues say on Hells Headbangers and the like?

Been holding off on buying a few of them simply because I prefer the original artwork, but if they don't sound any different, I may as well just get over it.
