I just got two emails confirming that my two orders have been filled. I've been trying not to get my hopes up but this seems to be completely legit. I don't understand it, but I'm probably going to double-back and grab just a few more items before they come to their senses...

And here is that last order:

Cathedral - The Carnival Bizarre
Cathedral - Forest of Equilibrium
Jex Thoth - s/t
Pilgrim - Misery Wizard
The Wandering Midget - I Am The Gate
Wooden Stake - Dungeon Prayers & Tombyard Serenades
Salem - In the Beginning (2CD comp, NWOBHM)
Jonah Quizz - Anthology
Enforcer - Classic Chicago Metal
$38.02

Took a couple risks here. I hadn't heard of Wooden Stake before. The Razorback association doesn't help them in my books, but the logo is cool and the idea of death/doom with clean female vocals is appealing. The Wandering Midget I've never heard either, but their name, plus being Finnish and Lovecraftian has me hopeful. Enforcer and Jonah Quizz I've heard very good things about. Been trying to find that Jex Thoth debut for a decent price for awhile now.

Isn't that band Crypticus on Razorback? They rule!

Any clue if the Omega Order sale applies to pre-ordered items? Noticed they're carrying the new Anathema. Can't wait to get my greedy mits on this stuff...

This deal is insane. I've got to get my deposit cleared in time to take home one of these crazy orders...

Okay so in regards to the Omega Order madness: Count_V has officially received an e-mail from them saying that the JOKES_OLD discount is not legitimate. They've offered to let him have his order at a 30% discount or cancel outright. I haven't received any e-mail yet but I'm obviously going to cancel...even at 30% I'll be spending way to much.

Sorry if I got anyone elses hopes up. It seemed too good to be true from the beginning and as usual this has held true.

I didn't order from them, but that's dumb as fuck to have an illegitimate discount available on your site, April Fool's Day or not.

It actually wasn't on their site, the jokes_old thing got around by word of mouth. It was basically a loophole to apply the sale to almost all items. They caught us and have every right not to honor it. Live and learn I guess.

Well that's a pity. I had an order of $300+ worth of stuff without the discount I'd been wanting. Not buying a penny of it. Oh well. Couldn't afford the shelf space anyway.

But hey, never hurts to try. I remember a few years back, when The Omega Order did that B(M)ail Out thing with tons of well-known, sealed albums for prices that would normally be considered suicidally cheap.

i'd say if you abuse the system [loophole or whatever] then trust them with your credit card, name, address etc you could be in for a 'surprise'.
if you went into a supermarket and someone had accidentally priced the 1kg peanut butter at 2 cents the right thing to do would be tell the owner/manager etc about the error, not buy all the peanut butter you could carry and tell all your mates about it [maybe a poor example, but you get what i mean]

i'd laugh if you guys got ripped for what you did, it would teach you a lesson in honesty.

Don't know about the music but that cover art is seriously one of the best I've ever seen! It would look perfect in vinyl format.

Says both of my orders have been fulfilled/billed at the 70% discounted rate. I used JOKES_OLD as well. So, if they billed me then it can't be a hoax. Also, allowing people to go through with an order and have it pending fulfillment, then turn around and say the coupon was fake is suicidal to your business. If I had received an email telling me such, I would never even LOOK at the Omega Order store again.

Edit: Seems it was a bug. But 30% still isn't really enough for me to buy some of those, so I'd probably cancel at least half of them if I only get 30%.

Why does it cost more to ship to the US than it does to ship to third world countries? This bullshit continues to dumbfound me. This is possibly my most wanted release ever and I can't even get it because shipping is 15 euros. I"m sorry, but fuck that. :brick:

Have a cry man, try living anywhere in the Southern hemisphere.

It aint the European metal labels fault that the USD is hardly worth as much as the Peso...

Animals is a masterpiece, my favorite Pink Floyd album. Enjoy!

Still debating on whether to get the Voice of Steel DLP. I just think that paying a total of 50+ dollars for a single, new item is fucking bullshit. Seriously, is there anywhere I can get it from this side of the globe?
