Manilla Road - The Circus Maximus

I heard this album in my dreams last night.

EDIT: Fuck, this really has killer bass playing. Turn it up loud, and it really grooves. Props to Andrew Coss.

Candlemass - Demon's Gate, off Epicus Doomicus Metallicus

"The choirs of damnation CALL YOU ON THROUGH!!!"

That part always gives me the creeps. Johan sounds like a fucking harpy there.

Eyes of Eden - Not Human Kind

I'm not a huge fan of this album, but my love for this song is like a truck.

Neurosis - Enclosure in Flame

My least favorite song off of Through Silver in Blood, but it's still a monster track with some effective transitions between clean guitars and monstrous, oceanic wave-like riffing. Still a 100% album for me though...so damn powerful. I'm afraid to check out the rest of their catalogue because I'm not sure anything can beat this.

Hellwell - Eaters of the Dead

I'm preparing myself for the new MR album by listening to this one, I overlooked this album 'cause I was expecting a proggier sound and I was disappointed at first, I like what I'm hearing now.

Chalice - Winter in the Desert Sky

Oh look, it's this song again! And it's still wonderfully evocative!

Anubis Gate - Hold Back Tomorrow

Originally I was craving some Danzig, but I don't have any on my iPhone, so I'm listening to this since I haven't in awhile. Are Anubis Gate writing another album? I can't remember.

Yes.

Jesus Christ Superstar OST - Gethsemane

Easily the best song in the whole show. Intense and emotional.

Ayumi Hamasaki - Curtain Call

This song gives me chills every time.

Persona 3 FES OST - Heartful Cry

The Answer was a train wreck, but it did come with some great new songs. Like this.

Definitely. I found 'The Great Cold Distance' to be a bit (ok, a great deal) disappointing, but 'Night Is the New Day' and 'Dead End Kings' have more than made up for it. Not as good as 'Tonight's Decision', 'Last Fair Deal Gone Down', or 'Viva Emptiness', but still very, very good, and sometimes outstanding.

To the guy above me: You are correct. 'Death Magic Doom' is a fine album.

I agree. What a letdown after playing such an incredible game. I tried coming back to it after beating P4, but it was too irritating going back to that battle system in an epilogue essentially made up of endless grinding.

Nocturnus - The Key

I swear it's even better on cassette.

Going back to P3 at all after playing P4 is like going back to an early 90s cell phone after using a smart phone.

King Diamond - Black Horsemen

The King's greatest song of all time. No contest.

The Knife - Full Of Fire

New album will have four songs about 10 minutes long and one that almost surpasses the 20 minute mark... let's see how this will turn out.
