Band first disbanded in 1987 due to disagreements between the members. In 1989 Alessandro Zazzeri reformed Zephyr but in 1990 band's activity became dormant and in 1992 the group broke up again due to serious health problems of Alessandro. Later in 1997 Zephyr reunited and were active until 2006.
