Winterborn saw the light of the day in December 2004. The group was formerly known as Mean Machine, a heavy metal cover band which did make quite a bit name for themselves. Mean Machine had the same line-up from the beginning as Winterborn has now. The Mean Machine project was formed in the spring of 2003.
