Formed by Vârcolac and Baron von Doom in 1998 as a thrash metal/punk act influenced by the likes of Slayer and the Misfits. Baron von Doom left in 1999 due to musical differences, and Vârcolac kept at it as a solo project, moving into a more gothic metal vein before shelving the project temporarily. He ended up changing the style to symphonic black metal in 2004 upon the group's revival.
