Formed from a jam during the summer of 1978 between two Wild Zephyr members and Micke Höglund under the name Trash. On the bus to their first TV appearance, they decided to change it to Tryckvåg (Swedish for shock wave).

Disbanded in 1987 but reformed in 1999.
