The word "trist" is a formal term for the word "miserable" in Norwegian and German.

Was on hold for some time from 2009 to 2011.
Officially confirmed in December of 2012 that live performances will no longer be done. Trist played its last show in September of that year.

In 2014, Trist's record label Fallen Empire Records confirmed that the project has ended.
