Started as Tricky Beans in 1996, playing pop/rock music. The band did not take themselves or their direction very seriously until Tony Kakko had something of an epiphany while listening to the 1997 Stratovarius album "Visions." After this they changed style to melodic power metal, and released their final demo under the name Tricky Means, before finding ...
