Tommi Salmela has been involved with Tarot for many years, originally as a roadie before providing backing vocals both on record and on-stage. He has only recently been made a full-time member of the band and now performs co-lead vocals with Marco Hietala.

The Hietala brothers both use stage names slightly different from their real names (their real names are Marko and Sakari).
