Mem has been involved with many bands ranging from thrash metal (his true passion, taking part in bands like Exumer, Of Rytes and so on) to hardcore (Phobic Instict) to during the mid-late 90's being involved with a rap-metal act (Humungus Fungus) but he then realized that kind of group isn't for his liking. He returned to his thrash roots, creating Sun Descends.
