Strike was initially called "Slash" and, later, "Blue Steel". In 1978 they changed name into "Donna".

Their label, for marketing reasons, tended to present them as Americans because of commercial reasons and because many of them were from the States. They used to play in the American musical circuits in the NATO bases, but after they had been signed by Skyzo they often appeared on the Italian ...
