Named after the underworld hideout of main character V, in Alan Moore's graphic novel V for Vendetta.

All members of Shadow Gallery have fairly successful, busy lives outside the band (several are audio engineers).

They had never played a live show until September 2010. Their first concert was in Tannersville, PA, USA, followed by a European tour in October.
