Named after the underworld hideout of main character V, in Alan Moore's graphic novel "V for Vendetta".

All members of Shadow Gallery have fairly successful, busy lives outside the band (several are audio engineers).

They had never played a live show until September 2010. Their first concert was in Tannersville, PA, USA, followed by a European tour in October.
