Salome decided to call it quits after the departure of vocalist Katherine "Kat" Katz in 2011. Guitarist Rob Moore has since started a new project called Auroboros with ex-Baroness guitarist Brian Blickle.

Salome contributed a cover of Fugazi's "Blueprint" to the "Clone - Play Slow, Die Fast: Vol. 1" compilation. (Blind Date Records - 2009)
