Sagrado Inferno was the first Heavy Metal band from Minas Gerais, Brazil, in the early 80's.

Broke up after the death of guitarist Silvinho.

The band played in the Metal BH II, together with the bands:
Sarcófago, Armmagedon, Chakal, Sepultura & Minotauro.

The band Witchhammer re-recorded the song "Perseguição" in the album Ode To Death (2006).
